Project Reverie is an art initiative that seeks to challenge the one-dimensional stories often imposed on survivors of gender-based and sexual violence. It invites us to look beyond the wounds and past the shadows to glimpse the fierce resilience that defines these lives. Survivors are not merely symbols of suffering; they are layered, defiant, and beautifully human.

In twelve interviews, student artist Felicity Wong gathered stories as varied as the individuals who shared them. Half of these voices belong to people of color; many identify as LGBTQ+, and ages range from 18 to 52. Each portrait captures not only their faces but their dreams, strengths, and the fullness of their spirits.

At its core, Project Reverie is a tribute and a wish for a world rooted in compassion and empathy. Proceeds from calendar sales will support the Atria Collective, a Vermont nonprofit dedicated to ending gender-based and sexual violence, letting this message of strength and hope ripple outward, far beyond the frame.
